The King’s African Riffles Memorial Tower
Located in Zomba the old Capital City of Malawi is the King's African Rifles Memorial Tower. This is a tower which was erected to honour the Nyasaland (as Malawi was formerly known)` war heroes who fought in both First and Second world wars as part of the multi-battalion British colonial regiment raised from various British colonies in East and Central Africa from 1902 until independence in the 1960s.
